I voted other because I’m good with either giving Price ce money or punishing tankers. Don’t want to force something that is more work for you but just voting to punish tankers.

voted other, liked the idea from previous discussion point on other forum thread. ideally you wouldn't have to do it, but if its happening and an issue, think this is the fairest way to police it. its not that hard when you have a spare half hour or so to set your lineups for weeks in advance, and you can just adjust daily if you wish. otherwise i'm happy to just follow suit with whatever else is agreed to.
TANKING
In regards to tanking, intentionally leaving your active players on the bench is not allowed. If you have a lot of active players on one day, so that all can't fit in your line-up, you may leave the better ones on the bench, but only if you still present a full lineup for the day. Who you put in as starters is your decision. At no point in time may a GM start any players in the following situations:
Listed as "OUT" or "INJ" and have no chance of playing Players who play in the G-League Players who play abroad or otherwise not a current player in the NBA
PENALTIES FOR INTENTIONALLY TANKING
1. First occurrence of such activity will give you a warning
2. Second occurrence will net you a 3m cap penalty for the current season
3.Third occurrence will net you an additional 6m cap penalty for the following season.
4. Fourth occurrence will result in you forfeiting your round one draft pick (or best available pick)
5. Fifth occurrence could lead to removal from the league.

I vote other. As slottas, I agree with Harley's proposal too.

I think the details shared by Harley was from his league where he is the commissioner. Based on experience, it is a bit too much for a league commissioner to be continuously keeping track of all managers if they set their lineups properly. At some point it becomes tiring and unfulfilling.
I voted to keep the current set-up because thats how it really works and how it should work - you get rewarded for winning/have a winning record. Tanking will technically make you lose money. That will be the prize to pay for intentionally trying to get the top draft picks.

I might have another solution to this, it’s pretty simple and fair.
Can pretty simply tally up all the stats for each team, each week (including bench players) and compare with their current opponent.
Then use these results as the basis for the draft order.
Won’t be to hard to implement and results can be published to the forum

Only trouble would be working things out when guys are dropped, traded, picked up from waivers, etc. as every team will have a guy on it that didn’t play the whole year on their roster. I know yahoo gives stats for each player for the whole year, but is it possible to break it up for the time they’ve spent on each team in our league?

Won’t be a problem, stats would be collected daily for each team

An idea
7th gets 25 percent lottery chance 8th gets 20 9th gets 15 10th gets 15 11th gets 12.5 12th gets 12.5
Includes lower 6 finals.
Less work involved for Commish
