And what's the deal with RFA? So the owner can match the offer after the 24hr period and the bid cannot then be increased by the opposing team?

Yes that's how it works in the NBA. For us we only get 1 player with that right per year.

If you own a RFA you can bid on them if you want... if you win you get the player....
if you lose, you get the choice of matching the winning contract.
