Should we adjust rookie contracts?
Possible adjustments are Salary Percentage, Length of 1st and 2nd round picks, Options on Rookies

Yes, this deserves more discussion.
One possibility: Add $1M to the initial contract for 1st round picks, and bump 2nd rounders up to $1M for the guaranteed year.
I have no issues with contract lengths or options--it makes them feel substantially different from free agents, which should be the case.

Personally I think it's working fine as is. If any changes are made they should not take place until 5 years as contract planning atm is across 4 year contracts.

This is the difficulty in altering contract structure. Would be the same with freezing or otherwise modifying the salary cap, would have to be announced a full cycle out.

I’ve made this “Rule change” just to see if we should discuss other options for rookies. Voting yes to this doesn’t mean a rule change but would mean breaking down the discussions more.
Personally if I was Commish I’d propose these items. 2nd round picks have a 3rd year option for $1.5M. 1st round picks have a 4th year option at 2 times the 3rd year option. Stop the salary cap going up and adjust rookie salaries based on a flat cap.
Those are just my suggestions though.

We barely have 2nd round picks this year. I just signed Franz Wagner cause I missed out on signing last year.
