1) where do roster bonuses show up on the spreadsheet? I don't see it there. Is there only a roster bonus for your winning percentage in the league during the regular season? Playoffs mean nothing?
2) what are the rules in NBA players that we have signed to contracts that no longer have NBA contracts? Are we able to cut them for free at a certain point in the year?
3) I noticed some owners post their bids using a salary structure and some don't is there a reason for this?

Captain - did you by chance download the rules for the league - a lot of questions would be answered in there - if not I can send you the link.

I have the link but didn't see those items.
I see the winning percentage bonus but I didn't see anything about you final place in the league. Like my team finished 3rd but I don't see a bonus. Also I can't to see last years standings so I have no idea if I am entitled to a bonus or not.
I saw in the rules buyouts for exceptional reasons and then talking about a death of a player. Not much else.
Third question is just so I understand how I should be bidding

OK fair enough - I better let the commissioner answer your questions then.

No bonuses yet, they will start from next season. The idea behind the bonuses are to reward teams to remain competitive and not just tank for draft picks, so even if your going to come last you have a reason to try and pick up as many points as you can week to week.
The 'exceptional circumstances' rule is ment to cover non basketball related events that would adversely affect a team. For players that retire, get injured or just not good enough the standard rules apply and the players contract need to be paid out.
When posting contract offers they just need to be clear as to what the offer is, some managers have been posting year by year breakdowns while others have been posting just the totals, either is fine. If you just post the totals and you end up winning, you will need to let me know what the breakdown is so the spreadsheet can be updated.

Okay thanks for the info, that helps clear it up.
I obviously have a bit of my baseball league in my head, in that league retired players can be bought out at no penalty to the salary cap. With your rule I now understand what I must do to get rid of any deadweight on my team.
