With all the injuries, load management and so on, can the IL spots be IL+ spots?

Agree 100%.
Yahoo only changes to IL when it's a published long term injury or they wait one week before changing to IL. In that time you're a player short for the week.

While I agree on principle, rule changes for the season ahead should be announced and implemented before any substantial offseason activity. All for it in seasons moving forward, but think it's too late to convert this year.

Does not really have any impact on the league

Injuries & Load Management is always part of the game and our League setting has always been IL. Yahoo rules on tagging players as IL has not changed also as far as I know.
During the COVID pandemic, NBA made some rule changes expanding/adding players allowed per team due to players not being able to suit-up due to COVID-related reasons. It was at this time that IL+ was added by Yahoo but it has remained ever since.
While improvements should be welcomed, it should be done in the proper time and for the right reasons. Having said that, I think we should NOT implement any changes now that FA period has closed and we are about to begin the season.
But I do believe discussions on any rule changes in the future should still take place. This is if the commish will allow any rule discussion & change to be made in the first place.

I agree with Zollies and Suicide. I'm actually against it in general, not only for this season.
