Because the rules were not clearly written I am asking that Carmelo's contract not count against my budget in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
I'll take the penalty for this year.

I think the best thing for this league is for you to give up and find a different league to be a part of.

Carmelo has been waived. Once he clears waivers he becomes a free agent, just like when you drop a player to the waiver wire during the season. Sorry Bud But you probably want to go back and rewrite the rules. They were not clear at all. It was only after reading them that I went ahead with my strategy. The word "Waiver" has many meanings. I never think of waiver and cutting as the same thing. Waiver is just the first step in a process to either releasing, trading or renegotiating a contract. How can they be clear for everyone else in the league even players who just joined this year yet not be clear to you a manager with multiple years experience in this league. It is clear you just ram though and do whatever you believe is correct then just whine and complain after the fact. JUST LEAVE NO ONE WANTS YOU HERE!!!

Thanks
All the more reason to stick around.
My team is still solid this season.
For someone who claims to be so experienced you'd think you'd never been through a preseason before.
Preseason is where all the activity and airing of grievances occur.
Once the season starts nothing really is said or done.
You and your Spanish buddy need to go change your diapers and stop carrying on.

At least a 33% of the managers thinks this way.

Because the rules were not clearly written I am asking that Carmelo's contract not count against my budget in 2019, 2020 and 2021. I'll take the penalty for this year. This is how it is going to be . 1. Carmello has been waived/cut/dropped/given the lemonade and sars, call it what you will he is no longer on your team. 2. Carmello has cleared waivers and is now a free agent. 3. You are stretching the money owed as follows 2018 - $4.5M 2019 - $5.0M 2020 - $5.0M 2021 - $5.0M 4. I have started a new auction for melo, the bid is with Ronto for 8m over 2y 5. This thread is now locked, and if any of you have a problem with any of this PM me and l deal with you in the morning.
