With the signing of George Hill Ronto has exceeded the Salary Cap by $3,000,000.
You have about 19 hour left to free enough space to honour this contract or it will be VOID.
Hill we return to free agent status and you will be excluded for bidding in the auction and pending a review you will be sanctiond.

Waive & Stretch Jonas Valanciunas over 4 years
Please structure contract the following way
1 year $2 million 2 year $2 million 3 year $2.5 million 4 year $2.5 million
I read the rules as I had 24 hours to clear enough room to sign the RFA from the time he is declined. Trevor Ariza was not matched today, approx 12 hours ago, so I felt that I had until tomorrow to free the cap room for him. To my way of thinking Ariza is only on my books until 24 hours has passed from him being declined. Yet he was on my books 12 hours after he was declined. I had $33 million in space, enough for Westbrook and Hill.

I am also waiting to see is Malcolm Brogdan is matched. Once he is matched shouldn't I have 24 hours to clear the cap room to fit him in?
I can't be expected to clear cap room before his original owner has decided to match or not.

You had plenty of room for Ariza and RW.
Hill put you over, you get 24H from the time Hill was signed to free up the space, by my count you still got about 18 hours to go.

I hope what I am saying makes sense. Ariza was declined 12 hours ago, he should not go onto my cap for another 12 hours regardless if I have room now.
Him being on my cap before he should has been has caused me to go over.
The sequence should have been
Hill goes on today, Ariza goes on in 12 hours from now (24 hours since he was declined) Westbrook goes on in 23 hours from now (24 hours since he was declined)

Anyway, waiving and stretching Jonas Valanciunas like that is OK and gets me under?

Sorry I have made a mistake, the breach on Brogdon AND Hill, as Brogdon was restricted the owner can wait until you have cleared the cap space before making a deciding to match. (which you have now done.)

I’m sorry to interupt here... but I think Ronto has signed Ariza (Conycento declined) and Hill (Unrestricted) first. Therefore, their contracts should be integrated to Ronto’s salary cap while Westbrook’s contract still up in the air, Ronto hasn’t registered his contract to League’s Commisioner.
So as far as I know, Ronto has commited to pay a total of $8.5M to these players. Therefore, Ronto Raiders has commited to pay $80.5M for 2017/2018 season. That means, Ronto only has $24.5M cap room to sign Westbrook. Remember, that we don’t know how much Ronto would pay Westbrook this season. It could be $28, $30, or perhaps $34 if Ronto wants to pay him with decreasing contract for the next 4 years. His contract hasn’t registered on League’s Salary Sheet.
So please, enlighten us, how can we solve this issue. In my opinion, Ronto should clear the cap and make a room for Westbrook, not Hill (remember, Hill has signed for $4.5M in 2017 season).

No, as I have already stated, the contract to westbrooke was signed BEFORE Hill (and brogdon).
At the time westbrooke was signed (the end of his auction) RR had the space to hounor the contract.
At the time brogdon was signed RR exeeded the cap and had 24 hour to clear space, the signing of Hill put RR further over the cap.
RR has now waived Valentunus to clear the room to sign both brogdon and hill.
Unibrow now has to decide on if he wishes to match brogdons contract.

This the timeline, I believe... Ariza signed $4M - 1 year as a RFA... Conycento declined Hill signed $15M - 2 hours ago as an UFA Westbrook signed an offersheet $135M - 50 mins ago... previous owner to decide to match or not
And I must state, that this case should be cleared first. I know I have the timeline here to deciding on Westbrook’s situation. And if hasn’t be cleared by time passed, I’ll match the offer. But I need Commish to consider all factors and evidences here.

yes, Westbrook signed the offersheet first but not cleared how much he earns in 2017 season. He still a Free Agent by the time Hill has been signed (I still have the deciding factor here, which I havent’t use that yet) Hill signs as an UFA. He can be signed immediately after Ronto has won the auction, and he did mention Hill’s contract details. That’s why I stand on my opinion, that Hill is on Ronto Raiders first before Westbrook.

Westbrooke was signed over 24 hours ago.
long before the auctions for both hill and brogdon finished.
You were clearly told shortly after the westbrooke signing by both myself and others the RR had the cap space honour the contract.
You chose to ignore this advice and not match the contract for westbooke.
RR then breached the cap to sign both brogdon and hill and subsequently waved valintunus to rectify the situation.

If I may, I’d like to re-do the timeline here... This is what Ronto’s salary cap in 2017 season would like..
Ariza has signed $4M as a RFA, Conycento declined, Ronto owned the right to sign him. Salary cap decreased from $33M to $29M. Hill has signed $4.5M as UFA. Nobody outbidded RR for 24hrs. Therefore, Hill signed immediately as he clears from that 24hr waiver. Contract’s details submitted approx 2 hours ago. Salary cap decreased from $29M to $24.5M Westbrook has signed an offersheet a total of $135M for the next 4 years. No details on the contract until an hour ago. With remaining $24.5M on the books, Ronto couldn’t sign him yet. And Previous owner has the right to match the offersheet, AFTER Ronto cleared some room for him, which is just now by waiving Valanciunas.
Please, is there any timeline more obvious than this?
